My name is Jayde Duhn, and I am the creative force behind Jayde Duhn Photography, based in Toronto, Ontario. My passion for photography began in childhood, when I’d run around with disposable cameras, capturing candid moments of my pets, family, and everyday life. Even then, I was drawn to the idea of preserving memories and emotions through images—a passion that has only grown stronger over the years.
After high school, I pursued my love for visual storytelling by enrolling in the Photography and Video Production programs at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario. I graduated with honours in both disciplines, earning a dual diploma that laid the foundation for my professional journey. My education gave me both technical skills and a creative perspective that continue to shape the way I see and capture the world around me.
Photography, to me, has always been about more than just taking pictures—it’s about telling stories. Whether it’s a quiet portrait, a joyful family gathering, or a vibrant event, I aim to capture genuine moments that reflect personality, connection, and emotion. I find inspiration in people’s unique stories and the beauty in everyday moments, and I use my camera to bring those narratives to life.
